@Honda FTW - uh, no tape adapters do not sound 'perfect'. To anyone who is into audio they sound pretty bad. Better than a regular FM modulator though. An inline modulator is better than either of them, but tapping into the radio amp itself (as this blog article is about) will provide the best quality you can get.

The name filbar is an adaption of the acronym fubar (Fucked Up Beyond All Recognition). I did something exceptionally odd one day and my friend Clayton said, "that's filbar!" Somehow the name stuck and, mother of all surprises, the domain was available.
